Long shots here get wet! Putts will be drawn to the water.Ī fantastic T- area in the crook of the creek, is a deceiving start to the most challenging hole on the course. drop down to a large, moderately sloped green, circled on the back side by the lovely French Creek, makes this one an absolute pleasure to play! The trail down requires extreme caution. A gently undulating green, pitches to the right and into heavy rough.Ī spectacular view of the clubhouse and a large part of the course, welcomes this short par 3. ![]() The fairway doglegs slightly right and narrows considerably, with an extreme drop (Pecover Pass) down to the creek, on the right side. OB left and the dreaded 'Mother Bunker' on the right at 225 yd. The first of the par 5's require a straight drive, generally into prevaiing winds. ![]() A flat putting surface is a relief from the sidehill approach. A low lying green is circled by tall poplars with a shallow draw across the front. Fairway bunkers on the right will require a long drive to clear. With the creek now running on your left, the fairway looks open and wide, but gently slopes to the creek it's entire length. Left side of the green will take your ball off of the putting surface. Trees, both sides, wedge to an L shaped green, bunker guarded on both sides. The back, elevated T-box, gives a commanding view of the natural beauty of the course! The creek, running below, must be cleared to reach the fairway. An extremely accurate second shot is required. shot up-hill to a narrow triangular green, with water hazard to the right and a sharp slope to the left. Laying up before the gully, leaves a full 150 yd. Standing on the tee, the fairway parallels the creek with a sharp gully at full drive range. With it's gentle rises and a sloped front, the green will challenge. Tree line and OB on your left and a steep decline right, makes for a long, tricky second shot to an elevated green. A sharp, deep draw crosses between T-boxes and an inviting open fairway.
